Studio
Onalee Ames Film Studio (OAFS) has supported aspiring artists for over 20 years, working with more than 3,000 local actors, many of whom have achieved global success. Operating from its Stafford Street location and Farpoint Films corporate office, the studio connects students directly to the film industry.
Offering classes in acting, comedy, screenwriting, and musical theatre, the studio helps students build skills, confidence, and authenticity. By fostering growth and sharing Winnipeg’s stories, it ensures local voices are heard on a global stage.
OAFS also has a partnership with writer, director, and screenwriter Steven Bernstein, who comes to Winnipeg from to work with many types of students to give them the LA experience.
